— Tulsi Gabbard 🌺 (@TulsiGabbard) March 19, 2020
In a video shared to her social media accounts, Gabbard drops out of the presidential contest. She is the last woman to leave the Democratic nomination contest. She cites the global crisis we are facing and calls for unity. In her departure video, Gabbard endorses Biden, saying, “Although I may not agree with the vice-president on every issue, I know that he has a good heart, and he’s motivated by his love for our country and the American people.” Apart from a strong showing in American Samoa (29.3% of vote and 2 delegate votes on Super Tuesday), Gabbard received less than 4% of Democratic primary vote in states where she was on the ballot.
