On January 20, 2021, Kamala Harris is sworn in as the first woman, first Black, and first South Asian vice president of the United States. She is sworn in by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, one of three women currently on the Supreme Court and the first and only Latina to ever serve on the court.
