On December 19, PBS NewsHour and Politico hold the sixth Democratic presidential primary debate in Los Angeles, California. The debate was held the day after the U.S. House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald Trump on two counts of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress (he was later acquitted on February 5, 2020). Qualifying participants include: Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, Tom Steyer, Elizabeth Warren, and Andrew Yang. Full transcript available here.
