Advocacy organization Supermajority releases poll findings on women voters’ positions on policy issues, gender equality, and the 2020 election. They find 88% of Democratic women believe there is “still work to be done” on gender equality, while just 46% of Republican women agree. 81% of Democratic women, 47% of independent women, and 5% of Republican women report Trump has made things worse for women. Asked which issues were “extremely important” in the 2020 election, 65% of Democratic women and 14% of Republican women say climate change. Conversely, illegal immigration was deemed “extremely important” by 72% of Republican women and 43% of Democratic women deem illegal immigration “extremely important.”
