At a campaign rally in Florida, Trump reiterates his plea to suburban women to love him. He says: “Please, please, suburban women you should love me. I ended the regulation that’s gonna destroy the suburb. Please, please. Suburban women you should love me.” Trump’s pleas to suburban women have been more specifically to white suburban women, using his administration’s record of ending a housing policy meant to increase racial integration in suburban cities as well as his opposition to racial justice protests as evidence that he is protecting them from danger.
